A closed mouth doesn’t get fed.
Here’s an age old adage that while indeed applies to some facets of life, is also often overused and even abused—especially by those who elect to never close their yappers.
I get it. To have a fulfilling life, interactions with the mass populace will be required. Sometimes, showing a bit of bravado is also necessary. However, I don’t think that a boisterous, social, or talkative persona should be the sole precedent for one who gets the most out of life.
Unfortunately for people like me—introverts as they say aren’t typically at the forefront of exacting social norms. As a result we aren’t getting the treatment that we deserve, and I daresay require. Thus, I’ve written this post is to shed some light on us closed mouths, and empower us the ability to live comfortably in this world we share.
Henceforth is the Manifesto for the So-Called Introvert.
Preamble:
We, the introverts of the world, stand united to celebrate and affirm our unique strengths, our ways of being, and our right to exist in a society that often prioritizes extroverted ideals. We recognize that our quieter contributions are just as vital to the fabric of human connection and progress. This manifesto is a declaration of our values, rights, and the power that comes from introspection and deep connection.

Let us forge a future where introverts can thrive, empowered by our quiet power, creating a more balanced and harmonious society for all.
