The goal lately is to find a different spot for each night here in Tampa. This place is a good candidate for a Sunday night pregame.
Atmosphere
Tucked away around the corner from the main SOHO strip is a decently sized sports bar. It’s almost hidden gem like, and for a Sunday night football game, this would be the perfect place.
TVs were everywhere, and there is plenty of seating. The Patio seemed to have a 75/25 split of covered to uncovered square footage but everything felt inclusive, including the four bars I counted.
There was a not lot of people tonight, but it was a fair amount for a Sunday. Actually it was the perfect for one who just wants to getaway and chill. The bartenders and patrons were friendly, and though I didn’t strike up any conversations, I got the feeling that it wouldn’t of been hard to.
For those on the prowl, I saw plenty of singles.
Price
Standard price for Tampa, which is pricey: 7 dollars for an IPA, 12 dollars for Crown Apple
Verdict:
This was my first time here, and so far so good. This place makes for a great pregame, if you want to chat amongst the group, play some darts, and take turns on the jukebox.
For a Sunday night I give it a 8/10. Stay tuned for a Saturday night review.
Seperately, I stumbled across a place called FLEXX, down in Ybor which seemed pretty lit. I would’ve went in but they wanted 20 dollars at the door. One of these days we’ll review that place. Stay tuned.
